Copying to several funded accounts means one signal can breach all of them at once. Every account gets its own risk limits, read from its own live balance, so a breach takes out the account that breached and nothing else. Eight controls per account, alerts when one trips, and an alert when a source goes quiet.
🛡️ Per-Account Risk Guard
Eight limits per destination: daily loss, trailing drawdown, daily order cap, daily profit target, maximum open positions, consecutive losing trades, a flatten time and a manual halt. Breach one and that account is flattened and cut out of copying immediately. Every other account carries on trading, because a shared threshold is how one bad morning ends four evaluations. Every limit is inactive until you fill it in, so upgrading changes nothing you have not asked for.
⏰ Flatten Time & Manual Halt
Give an account a time and every position on it is closed when the clock reaches it, read in that account's own timezone, so 16:08 on a Topstep account means 16:08 Eastern wherever you are. It runs once per session, so a restart that afternoon does not flatten twice. A manual halt is the other half: new entries stop immediately, open positions run to their own stops, and only Resume clears it.
🔔 Discord & Slack Alerts
Paste a webhook address into the Alerts panel and Trade Dispensary messages you when a limit trips, when an account is halted or resumed, and when a flatten time runs. A Send Test button confirms the address before anything depends on it, and repeats of the same event are held for fifteen minutes so one bad afternoon cannot bury the channel.
🔇 Silence Alerts
Every other alert fires when something happens. This one fires when nothing does. A copier that has stopped receiving signals looks exactly like a quiet market, and a revoked API key, a webhook pointed at an old address and a source platform that has signed you out all look identical from the dashboard, which is to say they look fine. Set a number of minutes against a source and you are told when the clock runs out.
🔁 Duplicate Signal Protection
An optional setting on each source ignores a repeated entry for the same instrument and direction within a chosen number of seconds. A TradingView alert that fires on every bar close while its condition is still true is the case this is for. Entries only, never an exit, because a repeated exit is how a position that did not close the first time gets closed.
📊 Live Balance on NinjaTrader
Risk limits are measured against each account's real balance as it moves, not a number you typed in at setup. Requires Add-On 7.2 or later, which ships in the box.
